Start at Von's Shopping Center in Carmel Valley
(corner of Carmel Creek Rd & Valley Centre Dr off the 56)

1. West (right) on Valley Centre Dr.
2. Quick left on El Camino Real.
3. Right on Carmel Valley Rd (careful going through I-5 merges)
4. Right on 101 (mile 2).
*stop and regroup with main TCSD group at Del Mar Starbucks*
5. Veer right on Jimmy Durante Pkwy (mile 4).
6. Right on Via de la Valle (mile 5.5).
7. Becomes Paseo Delicas (mile 11).
8. Becomes Del Dios Hwy (mile 13)(Lake Hodges on right).
9. Left on 9th St in Escondido (mile 21).
10. Quick left on Hale Ave.
11. Quick right on Harmony Grove.
12. Stay (left) on Harmony Grove @ Enterprise.
13. Stay (left; mile 22) on Harmony Grove @ Kauana Loa Dr.
14. Right on Elfin Forest Rd (mile 26.5).
15. Left on San Elijo Rd (mile 29).
*optional rest stop*
16. Right on Melrose Dr (mile 30).
17. Left on Shadowridge Dr (mile 36).
18. Right on Cannon Rd (mile 37).
19. Quick left on Lake Blvd.
20. Left on College Blvd (mile 40).

Route Slip
1. Start: Doyle Park in UTC
2. North on Regents Rd.
3. Left onto Genesee Ave
4. Right onto the North Bound 5 onramp- STAY RIGHT! GO INSIDE “K” RAILS (THE CHUTE) pending finishing of current construction.
5. Exit at next off ramp.
6. Left at stop sign at bottom of ramp
7. Right onto Sorrento Valley Blvd, crossing over the RR tracks and straight through the intersection
8. Left onto Sorrento Valley Ct, which changes name to Vista Sorrento Parkway (a moderate climb along the east side of Hwy 5)
9. Right at major intersection onto Carmel Mountain Road
10. Left onto El Camino Real (mile 4.2)
11. Continue north on ECR past Hwy 56 for 3.3 miles (another moderate climb)
12. Continue north past Del Mar Heights (mile 7.1)
13. North on ECR past the downhill side, it flattens out into an “S” curve-look for the next traffic light
14. Right onto San Dieguito Road (stoplight) in the Fairbanks Ranch area. Stop after the turn for the rotating pace line.
15. Continue 4-5 miles east past the school and soccer field on left.
16. Left at El Apajo (stop sign- 3 way stop), immediate right into the school parking lot for regroup
17. North on El Apajo for proximity drill
18. El Apajo curves right onto Via De Santa Fe (mile 13.0)
19. Right on Via de la Valle (mile 14.0) steep short hill
20. Right at T intersection onto Paseo Delicias
21. Left at El Montevideo (4 way stop signs)- this is the second regroup area
22. North on El Montevideo
23. Right at stop sign onto Lago Lindo around east side of reservoir
24. Left onto El Camino Del Norte
25. Left at 4 way stop
26. Left at Manchester (T intersection with traffic light)
27. Continue on Manchester- get into LEFT lane just before crossing under Hwy 5, follow roadway out to the coast
28. Left at Chesterfield (7-11 on your right)
29. Left onto South Bound 101
30. Stop at Java Depot (one of our sponsors) on 101 just north of Lomas Santa Fe and the train station for 10-15 minute coffee break
31. Leisurely ride south through Del Mar. Inside route zigzags through side streets to avoid downtown Del Mar, outside route stays on 101 & goes
through downtown.
32. Up Torrey Pines hill and stop at the top to regroup at the stoplight
33. South on Torrey Pines
34. Right onto North Torrey Pines at stop light (if you go straight you’ll be back on Genesee)
35. Left into UCSD campus- go through 2 stop signs and curve past soccer fields
36. Left at 4 way stop onto Voight Rd (eucalyptus grove on left)
37. Down and up the hill, left at the T intersection continuing on Voight.
38. Takes you back onto Regents.
39. Turn right onto Regents to return to Doyle Park.
