65-mile training ride

1. Begin at Carlsbad Starbucks and head north on PCH
2. Left on Eaton St (by Angelo's)
3. Right on Broadway (mile 1)
4. Left on Cassidy (over train tracks)
5. Right on Pacific St
6. Veer right past Oceanside Harbor on Harbor Dr and into base (mile 5)
**B/c of road construction, follow detour signs and make a left to continue North on Coast Hwy. At intersection by I-5, turn right to enter Camp Pendleton.**
Don't forget your ID!!!
Regroup immediately after entering base.
7. Continue straight on Vandegrift
8. L Stuart Mesa Rd (mile 6.5)
9. L Las Pulgas (13)
10. L El Camino Real (leave base; mile 14)
11. R onto Old Hwy 101 (bike path)
12. Bike path ends. L onto Avenida del Presidente (mile 24)
(follow bike route signs through San Clemente)
13. L on Avenida Califia
14. R on S Ola Vista
15. L Avenida Santa Barbara. Becomes S Calle Seville
16. R W Avenida del Palizada
17. L Avenida Miramar/Calle Puente
18. L Avenida de la Grulla (28)
19. R Avenida Florencia
20. L Calle las Bolas
21. R W Avenida Pico
22. L Calle Deshecha
23. Left by Train Station; R onto bike path (Beach Rd; mile 36)
24. Turn around at Dana Point Harbor Drive (mile 32.5)
**Regroup and refuel before heading back the way we came**
