1. Start from Von's shopping center in Carmel Valley
2. Turn left on Valley Centre Dr
3. Turn left on El Camino Real
4. Turn right on Carmel Mtn. Rd. (mile 2)
5. Quick left on Vista Sorrento Pkwy (before I5)
6. Left on Sorrento Valley Blvd (mile 3.5). Head east past Penasquitos Canyon.
8. Becomes Calle Cristobal (mile 6)
9. Turn right on Camino Ruiz (mile 8.5; CC dead ends onto CR)
10. Turn left on Capricorn Way (mile 9)
11. Right on Black Mtn Road (mile 10)
12. Left on Carroll Canyon Rd (mile 12)
13. Right on Scripps Ranch Blvd (mile 13)
14. Left on Pomerado Rd (mile 14)
15. Stay right on Pomerado (mile 16.5) when splits (straight is Cypress Canyon)
16. Right on Scripps Poway Pkwy (mile 17.5)
17. Right on Kirkham (mile 18)
18. Curves to left and becomes Gateway Pl (mile 20)
19. Quick right and return on Scripps Poway Pkwy (let the climbing begin!)
20. Left on Hwy 67 (mile 24)
21. Right on Dye Rd (mile 31.5; in Ramona; WINDY)
22. Left on Ramona St (mile 33)
23. Quick right on Warnock Dr (mile 34).
24. Quick left on San Vicente Rd (mile 34.5)
25. Right on Hanson Ln (mile 35.5)
26. Left on Griffith Rd (mile 37)
27. Quick left on Steffy Ln
28. Right on Keyes Rd (mile 38)
29. Left on W Old Julian Hwy (mile 38.5)
